The Scanify app is now available on the App Store

The anti-counterfeiting feature, scanify Print ID, can be easily and cost- effectively integrated into existing processes and printed on various materials – for example, on folding cartons, blister packs, product or textile labels. In the patented process, the security feature, which is invisible to the human eye, is recognized and verified using complex image processing algorithms. In addition, invisible data such as serial numbers or product data of several bytes can also be hidden in this way. Detection and authentication take place on the device in real time – without the need for a connection to the internet.

Scanify gründet US-amerikanische Tochtergesellschaft Scanify, Inc.

In July 2022, Scanify GmbH announced the founding of an American subsidiary in Chicago, Illionios. With this, Scanify GmbH itself starts selling products and services directly in the North American market. Due to the high demand from printing houses, solution providers and manufacturers of branded products, the foundation was absolutely necessary, so that Scanify is closer to the customers it has won. It is planned to successively expand the location in the USA. In addition to sales, a support and development department for the US market is also to be set up. Other locations are also planned on the west coast. Scanify Inc. will initially be managed by the three managing directors of Scanify GmbH, Metin Duman, Prof. Dr. Jan Luccarda and Cüneyt Göktekin, a separate management team is to follow. Further companies in the Middle East and Asia are planned.

Die eindeutige Identifikationsprüfung auf Fälschung erfolgt mittels Industriekamera oder flexibel über ein iOS oder Android Smartphone.

Wie funktioniert die scanify PrintID?


Das fälschungssichere Merkmal scanify PrintID lässt sich als EU-Richtlinien konformes Labeling auf verschiedene Materialien wie Verpackungen, Etiketten oder Oberflächen aufdrucken, zum Beispiel auf Faltschachteln, Blisterverpackungen, Produkt- oder Textiletiketten. Die Integration der scanify PrintID erfolgt dabei im letzten Schritt der Befüllung. Bei dem patentierten Verfahren wird das für das menschliche Auge unsichtbare Sicherheitsmerkmal mittels komplexer Bildverarbeitungsalgorithmen erkannt und verifiziert. Darüber hinaus lassen sich so unsichtbare Daten wie Seriennummern oder Produktdaten von mehreren Byte verstecken. Die Erkennung und Authentifizierung erfolgt dabei in Echtzeit auf dem Gerät – ohne Notwendigkeit einer Internetverbindung. Die Bildverarbeitungsschritte sind Fälschern nicht bekannt, daher ist das Sicherheitsmerkmal nicht kopierbar.
